The detailed information below will provide you with a better understanding of our services for cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as disease treatment and dental hygiene.
  Hygiene and Maintenance Care
Our hygienists utilize the latest techniques, equipment and knowledge to provide you with excellent preventative dental care. Led by Jill Ann Dunn, a registered dental hygienist who has more than twenty years of experience, our team works hard to improve your dental hygiene, prevent gum disease and increase the longevity of reconstructed and natural teeth. After determining a patient’s individual needs, regular appointments with our hygienists are essential for maintaining beautiful teeth and healthy gums.

Example Veneers
  Veneers
Veneers are strong porcelain restorations that are bonded to the front of teeth. Cracked, chipped and discolored teeth can benefit from ultra-thin porcelain veneers. It is an effective and successful way for patients who want to eliminate spaces between their teeth or straighten their teeth but do not want to wear braces for 12 months or longer. In just two appointments, veneers can provide you with an appealing smile and beautiful teeth.
  Inlays and Onlays
Inlays and onlays are used to cover large areas of a tooth. They are larger than a filling but smaller than a crown. Constructed from composite resins or porcelain, inlays and onlays are made at dental laboratories. In just two appointments, the preparatory work will be completed, the new inlay or onlay applied and the patient will have a great new smile.

Example Crowns a
and Bridges

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns, also known as caps, are designed to cover a large area of damaged teeth. A crown protects a tooth that is fractured, broken or has insufficient structure to hold a filling. Natural looking and durable, crowns are made from porcelain and can restore or improve the smile of many patients.
A bridge is a device that holds custom-made teeth and has anchors which attach to neighboring teeth. To strengthen them and hold the device in place, the neighboring teeth are prepared as crowns. Bridges are made from semi-precious or precious metals and porcelain. Some bridges can be fabricated with porcelain only to achieve optimum esthetics.

Example Bondings and
While Filllings
  Bondings and White Fillings
Bonding is a cosmetic filling that is used for cracked, chipped or broken teeth. To fill in defects or cavities, a bonding material made from composite resins is applied to teeth and hardened by a chemical or light process. Because fillings made from silver amalgam can be hazardous to patients’ health, Dr. Worth does not use them in her practice.

Example Implants
  Implants
Implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth. Titanium posts are imbedded beneath the gums. Over time, the titanium integrates with the surrounding bone and acts as a structure on which replacement teeth are mounted. Because implants fuse to the bone, they can provide strong and permanent support for bridges or individual crowns, or even full dentures.
Periodontal Disease and Treatment
Our practice provides periodontal procedures that include:
Evaluation • Surgery • Gum • Grafts • Maintenance
Periodontist Dr. Dennis Hunt is a leader in his field and provides our patients with a non-surgical approach to periodontal disease. He performs highly effective gum grafts that cover the roots of teeth exposed by gum recession. This procedure can protect the life of the teeth and improve their appearance. Working closely with Dr. Worth to develop a treatment plan, Dr. Hunt is dedicated to keeping your teeth and gums healthy.
Tooth Whitening
Tray bleaching involves the fabrication of specially designed trays that fit your teeth. They are filled with a whitening gel, NiteWhite, made from hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, and worn for one hour a day for up to 14 days. Patients usually notice results after the very first application.
One-hour Zoom Power Bleaching is done in our offices by a trained technician, Gina Renner. A hydrogen peroxide gel is applied and a blue light activates the gel to lighten your teeth. You can listen to music or watch a movie, and in just one hour your teeth can be two to five shades lighter. This is a great procedure for anyone with a busy schedule and the desire for sparkling white teeth.
Orthodontia
Invisalign is a dramatic new way to straighten teeth. Made without irritating metal, these nearly invisible flexible plastic aligners can be removed while you eat, brush or floss your teeth. The treatment involves using a series of custom-made aligners. About every two weeks, you will use a new set of aligners until your teeth are straight and your smile is perfect. The length of treatment is approximately the same as for braces. For patients who prefer conventional braces, Dr. Worth will provide excellent appliances, treatment and follow up services.
